STC is one of Sweden's largest gym chains with over 250 gyms and a wide range of offerings in gym and group training. We agree with the WHO, the Public Health Agency, and government investigators: we sit still too much. Obesity is increasing, and mental health issues like depression are becoming more common. But there is a simple solution that works wonders for both body, heart, and brain – movement! But we need your help!

We are now looking for a Gym Manager on 100% who wants to take responsibility for driving growth in one of our most important gyms in Borås Knalleporten and develop our leadership in line with our mission and values.

Your Mission

As Gym Manager, you have overall responsibility for daily operations, service, and growth, and you report to the District Manager in the south. You are responsible for ensuring an excellent member experience, coaching and developing your team, and ensuring the gym is well-maintained. Together with your team of gym hosts, you drive scheduling, staffing, and sales to inspire more people to move, but you do not have HR/personnel responsibility.

You also follow up on group training and personal training in close cooperation with your district manager, Group Training Manager (GTA), and central training director. Your role is central to the gym's development and success, and you have a holistic perspective covering everything from daily operations to long-term growth and member satisfaction. Your role will be operationally active, where you are close to the members to provide the best service.

Note that working hours will be scheduled during daytime, evening hours, and weekends. This means that flexibility regarding working hours is a requirement for the position. You are expected to adapt to a varying schedule and be available for work at different times to meet the business's needs and ensure a high level of service for our members.

You are a natural leader who not only motivates others but also constantly develops yourself and seeks new ways to improve and streamline work. You also have a strong business understanding and the ability to identify growth opportunities, while always putting the members' experience first.

Requirements:

• Good ability to work result-oriented with a focus on sales and member satisfaction.
• Experience working with scheduling and personnel planning.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Merits:

• Experience working as a team lead, preferably in the fitness, service, or retail industry.
• Experience in leading and coaching staff.
