Licensed Occupational Therapist for Mobile Rehabilitation Unit in Lindesberg

As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you will be based in central Lindesberg and work where there is a need within the Rehabilitation Department. Our occupational therapists are active in special housing, LSS housing, home care services, and day rehabilitation throughout the municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you are responsible for both general and specific rehabilitation in the various operations. You will perform targeted interventions at units where there is a need and, if necessary, participate in various meetings and collaboration regarding individuals.

You will be placed at the unit that needs support, and the duration varies depending on the operational needs.

The duties include collaborating with nurses, unit managers, care staff, and physiotherapists.

In your role as an occupational therapist, you must investigate and assess needs and perform occupational therapy measures. This includes ADL assessments, performing rehabilitative measures in the form of training activity capacity, prescribing assistive devices, and investigating and assessing the need for adaptations in the home. The work involves using national quality registers to increase quality assurance regarding the individual.

You must also document in the medical record system and create rehabilitation plans, participate in care planning/SIP, and supervise care staff. Together with other occupational therapy colleagues, you will supervise students and provide training in transfer techniques when necessary. Furthermore, you will collaborate with nurses, unit managers, and care staff through team meetings and unit meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist with professional experience and references that can attest to your competence. A valid driver's license, class B, is required. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is also meritorious if you have:

• Experience working within municipal operations.
• Experience with LSS operations.
• Familiarity with the operation system Viva.
