SGDS central IT department is responsible for managing, operating, and further developing the digital platforms, business systems, and infrastructure solutions that keep the entire business running. Through stable operations, high information security, and continuous technical improvement work, a robust IT environment is ensured that supports everything from the daily needs of stores and the logistics chain to sales functions, customer-centric systems, financial processes, sustainability work, analytics platforms, and other central business areas.

The IT department works closely with the business to deliver scalable, modern solutions that drive digitalization forward across the organization, while optimizing processes and creating conditions for an even stronger and more cohesive customer experience. The IT department is also part of Saint-Gobain Distribution Nordic, and some assignments may take place across national borders.

Responsibilities

In the role of Application Manager within ERP, you will have overall responsibility for Infor M3 and ensure that the system best supports the business's processes. You will work closely with IT, the business side, and external partners to ensure the platform is stable, available, and sustainable in the long term. You are responsible for the entire lifecycle, from daily operations and error handling to further development and strategic improvement initiatives.

You act as the main contact for questions related to Infor M3 and translate business needs into functional solutions in line with standards and best practices. The role involves coordinating releases, upgrades, and patches, as well as leading regression and functional testing. You also work with integrations to surrounding systems such as WMS, TMS, PIM, E-commerce, CRM, and BI.

You drive change requests, prioritize improvements, and lead root cause analyses to create long-term solutions. The role also includes responsibility for data quality, documentation, compliance with security and architecture principles, as well as budget and contract monitoring. You also coordinate internal resources and suppliers to ensure that development, maintenance, and implementation occur according to agreed quality and timelines.

Examples of tasks:

• Be primarily responsible for operations, development, and stability in Infor M3

• Coordinate improvements, upgrades, patches, and testing

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications in close collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Manage integrations and ensure data quality

• Lead root cause analyses and coordinate suppliers and internal teams

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• At least 5 years of experience with Infor M3 in the role of application owner, functional consultant, system expert, or similar

• Several years of experience in process optimization within relevant M3 modules

• Very good ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience with Infor M3 Cloud Edition and Infor OS

• Infor M3 certifications

• Experience with governance according to established ERP governance models

You naturally switch between operational tasks and more long-term initiatives, and are willing to take responsibility for driving work to completion. In dialogue with both the business and technical teams, you are confident and clear, even when many stakeholders are involved.
