Job Description

AFRY in Skövde and Laxå has recently delivered several successful projects within industry, automation, and production. We are now continuing to grow and are looking for a PLC Programmer who wants to develop technically sustainable and smart solutions together with an engaged team.

About the Role

As a PLC Programmer at AFRY, you will work closely with electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and the customer. You are a key person in the projects and are responsible for ensuring that the control systems function stably, safely, and efficiently.

Examples of tasks:

• PLC programming and configuration of control systems
• Development of automation solutions from concept to commissioning
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems
• Creation of system and functional descriptions
• Participation in FAT/SAT and commissioning at the customer site
• Documentation and technical support in projects

Qualifications

You are a PLC programmer with a few years of experience from the industry or automation projects. You enjoy problem-solving, take responsibility for your delivery, and thrive working both independently and in a team.

We would like you to:

• Have experience with PLC programming within industry/automation
• Be structured and quality-conscious
• Be communicative and confident in dialogue with the customer
• Be curious, driven, and solution-oriented

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, hold a Category B driver's license, and are flexible as travel for work may occur.

Additional Information

The position is based at AFRY's office in Skövde or Laxå. The role may in some cases be subject to security clearance and background checks.
