Meals is a service within the service sector of Ulricehamn Municipality. The mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students, as well as to individuals assessed as needing assistance in special housing, group homes, or their own homes. Today, there are 34 kitchens included in the food service operation.

Job Responsibilities

The position includes all typical large-scale kitchen tasks such as ordering, cooking, serving, dishwashing, self-control checks, etc. Preparation of chilled meals is also part of the role. The position includes weekend shifts.

Requirements and Qualifications

Do you want to cook food that makes a difference every day? Ulricehamn Resource Center Ulricehamn is now looking for you who are trained as a cook or have other relevant education considered equivalent. Experience from large-scale kitchens or restaurants is meritorious, and we value a genuine interest in food and dedication in your work. Here you work together with other colleagues on weekdays and take independent responsibility for the kitchen during weekends.

We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible, and stress-resistant, with the ability to work independently while collaborating well with colleagues. You are flexible, service-oriented, and have a strong willingness to contribute to development and improvements.

We appreciate that you are open to change, engaged, and creative in your work, and that you contribute your ideas to develop the operations. Your engagement in the kitchen is important, and you have the ability to adapt to different situations and tasks.

In Ulricehamn Municipality, we see language skills and diversity as assets. However, to perform the work safely and securely, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills are also important.
