In Västervik Municipality, we work with home rehabilitation and an activating approach. This means that care and support staff work together to help patients maintain and improve their physical and mental functions. We are serious about home rehabilitation!

We are now looking for a substitute for our rehab team.

Your Responsibilities

Here, you will become part of an engaged team working together to provide the best possible rehabilitation for our patients within municipal primary care. A key part of the job is to supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff to promote a rehabilitative working method. We focus on early interventions to enable more people to continue living at home with a good quality of life.

We collaborate within the team with other healthcare providers to put the patient at the center. One of our focuses is the "Team Home Transition" (Team Hemgång). You will assess the individual's activity capacity, bodily functions, and environmental factors. By applying measures such as activity training, prescription of assistive devices, and environmental adaptation, you will support and promote the individual's ability to be active, involved, and independent.

Your responsibilities also include assessing the need for housing adaptations.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. A valid B driving license is required for this position.

Previous work experience, preferably within municipal healthcare, is meritorious. The work places high demands on independence, flexibility, and teamwork skills, as conditions can often change quickly.
