Do you want to work with advanced AUTOSAR development, modern CI/CD environments, and the integration of complex embedded platforms?

In this role, you will have a central position in projects where you configure BSW modules, analyze ECU behaviors, and work closely with system engineers and architects to build robust software platforms for the next generation of vehicles.

As part of our international Software team, you will work on everything from memory management and diagnostic stacks to HIL/SIL testing, runtime analysis, and stable integration flows – in projects that drive the development of future mobility forward.

As an Automotive Software Engineer – BSW, you will work closely with both software and system engineers to configure and generate AUTOSAR BSW modules using tools such as Vector DaVinci and EB tresos, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into our software platforms. You will work continuously in modern CI/CD environments using tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Docker, contributing to stable and scalable build and integration flows. A key part of the role is supporting HIL/SIL testing and performing advanced debugging using tools such as Vector tools and Lauterbach Trace32, while analyzing runtime behaviors, memory usage, and integration challenges directly on target ECUs. The work is carried out in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, following MBSE principles and agile working methods to ensure robust, optimized, and future-proof software solutions.

Profile

We are looking for someone who combines technical skill, curiosity, and a strong desire to contribute to complex development projects.

You have:

• BSc/MSc in Software, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience in embedded development in bare metal or RTOS environments
• A good understanding of AUTOSAR methodology and associated tools
• Strong skills in C, with a focus on readable, scalable, and robust code
• Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, and Ethernet
• Experience in developing and integrating CDDs, as well as working with memory and diagnostic stacks
• Very good proficiency in both Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional safety and ASPICE
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Software Component Description (SWCD)
• Competence in C++
• Valid driver’s license (Category B)
