Bollerup Agricultural Institute and Nature Vocational High School is run by a foundation and is one of Sweden's largest school farms and a successful nature vocational high school.

Bollerup Nature Vocational High School is an independent upper secondary school offering nature vocational programs with a focus on horses or agriculture, as well as vocational introduction and special upper secondary education. Bollerup operates a full-scale farm and stud farm. We have milk, beef, pork, and crop production, as well as breeding of cattle, pigs, and horses.

Bollerup is beautifully situated in the heart of Österlen.

We at Bollerup Agricultural Institute are looking for a Carpenter and Facility Technician.

About the position

As an engaged and self-reliant carpenter with us, you will work with ongoing maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations within Bollerup's property portfolio. The properties consist of both school environments, residences, agricultural buildings, and culturally historic buildings, making the work varied and developmental.

The work takes place close to the property manager and other operational staff, where you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute practical solutions to daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing carpentry and maintenance work
• Repairs and minor renovations
• Doors, windows, floors, and interior finishes
• Installation and adaptations in school and residential environments
• Supervision and basic facility services
• Participate in planned maintenance efforts
• Collaborate with external contractors when necessary

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a carpenter or in a similar practical trade
• Is self-reliant, engaged, and responsible
• Enjoys solving problems as they arise
• Thrives with varied tasks
• Has a practical and solution-oriented approach to work
• Is service-oriented and works well in a team
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B)

It is an advantage if you have experience with facility maintenance or have worked in older buildings.
