Who are we looking for?
We are now seeking a passionate chef who wants to work in a team where a service-oriented attitude and teamwork are at the center. With curiosity and enthusiasm, you create flavorful and well-prepared dishes with a focus on sustainability.
The role includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist with menu planning and inventory.
About Restaurant MR Dragonen
The restaurant is located on a military area in the center of Arvidsjaur. Restaurant MR Dragonen has nine employees and serves approximately 200–450 lunches per day. In addition to lunch, we offer breakfast, dinner, evening meals, and catering to the area. Representation for small and large groups is common. Throughout the year, there are major intensive military exercises, holiday celebrations, and the regiment's day. Evening and weekend work occurs frequently.
Since we operate within a protected object, a police certificate (extract from the record of offenses) and a confidentiality certificate are required. The police certificate must be without remarks, and you must be a Swedish citizen as the operations are conducted within a military area.
Who are you?
- You are over 18 years old.
- You have education in hospitality and restaurant management with a chef focus or equivalent.
- You have prior experience in restaurant work.
- You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently.
- Through your passion, you take responsibility for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
- You see your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating.
- You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role.
- You speak and write Swedish fluently.
- Experience with menu planning systems is a plus.
