About the Role

This position is located within the Community Planning and Technical Administration. The Local Maintenance Unit currently consists of 50 employees who provide cleaning services in the municipality's facilities.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities involve local maintenance within Gällivare Municipality's facilities. This includes cleaning schools, preschools, office spaces, and public areas. As a cleaner, you will work both independently, responsible for your own area, and together with other cleaners. The team works collaboratively and supports each other as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a high school education or training that the employer deems equivalent. The role of a cleaner requires attention to detail, good planning skills, flexibility, communication skills, teamwork, and responsibility. You should have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. You must be service-oriented and have a pleasant attitude towards everyone in our areas, both colleagues and customers. Personal suitability is highly valued. Under the National Minority Languages Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality. Education or previous experience in the cleaning profession is highly meritorious.

A Category B driver's license is desirable.

100% Permanent position. Probation period may apply.
