Nurse for Psychiatric Clinics in Region Sörmland (Summer Vacation Replacement 2026)

Region Sörmland is now seeking nurses for summer vacation replacements for the summer of 2026. The positions are located in Eskilstuna, Katrineholm, and Nyköping.

The psychiatric clinics in Region Sörmland are responsible for the treatment of mental illness requiring specialist competence. Here, you will meet adult patients with mental illness requiring inpatient psychiatric care.

Your Responsibilities

We work with the goal of achieving an optimal functional level for the patient and increased quality of life through nursing care from a healthcare science perspective. We work in interdisciplinary teams where we continuously develop together in a rewarding work climate.

Your Qualifications

• Approved education as a nurse with psychiatry 2, 200 credits, and community-based psychiatry 100 credits/legal psychiatry 100 credits.
• Medical students.
• Nursing students.
• Psychology students.
• Other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You are calm, secure, and responsible in your role as a nurse, have a respectful approach, and value good cooperation with both patients and colleagues. Since the work largely involves communication, we require that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Multilingualism is an asset. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment. Irregular working hours occur as we operate 24/7. Start dates are ongoing according to agreement.
