Grand Hotel Lysekil is not like any other hotel. Here, turn-of-the-century charm, sea views, and genuine personal service meet – right in the heart of Bohuslän. We are now looking for you who want to step in for extra shifts in our reception and dining areas – sometimes in the evenings, sometimes on weekends, or during conferences.

Perhaps you are studying at high school (preferably a science track) and want a rewarding extra job alongside your studies. Or maybe you are an energetic and cheerful retiree who wants to stay active, meet people, and earn some extra money. Regardless – we are looking for you who enjoy meeting people, have a positive attitude, and like variety in your work.

We are offering three permanent positions:

• 1 Full-time – June 15 to August 31

• 1 Part-time – May 1 to June 15 (converts to full-time during the season)

• 1 Part-time – May 1 to September 30

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out

• Serve orders and work at conferences

• Handle bookings, emails, and phone calls with a professional and personal touch

• Collaborate with other staff to ensure a smooth stay for our guests

• Inform about the hotel's history, facilities, and local gems in Lysekil

• Contribute to developing our guest experience and service culture

• Get the opportunity to help with simple marketing, social media, and ideas for visibility

• Encourage upselling – and make the guest want to stay a little longer, book a little more, and experience a little more

We are looking for someone who...

• Has a good sense for service and enjoys meeting people of all ages

• Is responsible, structured, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks

• Has a natural feel for hospitality, sales, and solution-oriented thinking

• Enjoys taking initiative, is creative, and dares to come forward with suggestions

• Has an interest in marketing, social media, and content is positive, but not a requirement

• Thinks it is fun to work in an environment with a vintage feel, history, and charm

• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English (additional languages are a plus)

• Is computer literate and fast on the keyboard
