Mormors Bistro in Stora Rör on Öland is now looking for chefs for the 2026 season – both for summer jobs and extra help as needed.

About the position

As a chef with us, you will work with à la carte in a kitchen where quality, flavor, and pace are in focus. Our food is Mediterranean-inspired, based on local and seasonal ingredients, with meat, fish, and shellfish playing a central role.

We work as much as possible with organic, locally grown, and sustainable products. You will become part of a tight-knit team in a vibrant restaurant setting at Stora Rör harbor, where we together create a place for good food, community, and memorable experiences.

We are looking for you who:

• Have a genuine interest in cooking and ingredients
• Enjoy a fast pace and handle stress well
• Are meticulous and maintain a high level of hygiene and organization
• Are flexible, solution-oriented, and a team player
• Contribute positive energy to the kitchen

Meritorious qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience from an à la carte kitchen
• Experience working at a high pace during service
