Job Responsibilities

As a substitute in care and elderly care, you are a reliable support person in the daily lives of our users. The tasks vary depending on the unit, but may include among other things:

• Helping with morning routines and personal care
• Motivating and supporting care recipients in their daily activities
• Accompanying on walks or excursions
• Administering medication according to delegation from a nurse
• Contributing to social interaction and a safe environment
• In home care, you will also meet team coordinators who plan the work together with you and ensure that the services maintain high quality.

All planning takes place on your mobile phone, so you clearly see what you need to do. At the same time, the job is varied, and some situations require you to think quickly and independently.

We have a need for employees who can work days, evenings, and weekends.

You can now also express interest in working a weekend-based schedule. This means:

• Work primarily on weekends
• More free time on weekdays

Introduction and Recruitment Process

If you match the needs of our units, you will be invited to a group interview, where you will learn more about our different workplaces and we will have the opportunity to get to know you both individually and in a group.

Before starting work, you will receive a secure introduction at your workplace and shadow regular staff until you feel ready.

If the units have a need, and you are interested, extra jobs may also become available before the summer schedule begins.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have experience or education within care and elderly care (meritorious, but not a requirement)
• Want to make a difference for others and have a great interest in people
• Are sensitive, responsible, and good at collaborating
• Can take initiative and prioritize when things happen simultaneously
• Can understand, speak, and write Swedish
• Have basic computer skills and can handle the IT systems used
• Are 18 years or older (according to occupational safety regulations AFS 2012:3)
• Hold a driver's license (required for several units)

Before a potential employment within care and elderly care, you need to submit an extract from the criminal record. This is part of our security routines.

Employment Type: Summer Job / Holiday Work.
Duration: 3–6 months.
