We are now looking for a passionate, curious, and enthusiastic Head Chef for an innovative lunch restaurant that aims to build, inspire, and lead a team where service spirit and teamwork are at the core. You are an organized and natural leader responsible for the kitchen operations, both operationally and economically, as well as ensuring quality. As Head Chef, you are responsible for complying with laws, routines, and Compass Group’s policies, rules, and values. The role includes, among other things, responsibility for self-control, inventory, pre- and post-calculation of all dishes, monitoring of key figures, waste management, and purchasing. You are also responsible for creating sustainable dishes and menus based on trends, seasons, and guest preferences.

As Head Chef, you will play a key role in leading and developing this journey. You are responsible not only for daily operations but also for creating menus and food experiences together with the team, where quality, creativity, and sustainability permeate every detail. The role therefore requires both strong gastronomic drive and a genuine interest in development, leadership, and teamwork.

Who are you?

  • You have education within hospitality and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a chef or equivalent.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in personnel and result responsibility.
  • You should have experience working with menu planning systems.
  • You have excellent knowledge of gastronomy, nutrition, kitchen economics, and waste management.
  • You have analytical skills and are result-oriented.
  • You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently.
  • You have the ability to lead and distribute work, as well as turn decisions into action.
  • You are attentive and responsive, with good knowledge of labor law and working environment.
  • You are creative and solution-oriented.
  • You see your significance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and easy to collaborate and communicate with.
  • You take responsibility through your passion for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
  • You enjoy fast-paced days, can take initiative, and are flexible in your professional role.
  • You speak and write Swedish fluently.
  • You have good computer skills and knowledge of Office365.
