Service Technician with Customer and Business Focus

About the role – a central function in our customer delivery

As a service technician at Wheelsystem, you are responsible for customers in southern Sweden and Denmark, and play a key role in ensuring high service levels, satisfied customers, and long-term business relationships.

You meet customers in their daily operations, solve technical challenges, and find solutions that optimize both operation and function. The work ranges from initial installation to service, support, and further development of existing systems.

The role involves close collaboration with both the service and sales organizations, where you simultaneously serve as the company's face in customer dialogue.

You will

You are responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of wheel washers, forklifts, lifts, and mobile scaffolding. You commission new facilities and ensure a safe and professional start-up for the customer. Furthermore, you work with technical support, both on-site and via phone or remote control.

You conduct training at the customer's site and contribute to ensuring the systems are used in the best possible way in the customer's operations. In connection with assignments, you identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to upselling and the development of existing solutions.

The work involves travel within the region, overnight stays when necessary, as well as international travel, primarily to Denmark but also to customers and trade fairs in Europe and Canada.

You are

You are a person who thrives in an independent role where you are responsible for your own planning and daily routine. With a structured approach and technical interest, you create security both in delivery and in the customer relationship.

Experience from service, maintenance, or technical work is an advantage, as is a background or interest in areas such as automotive or mechanical engineering. You have a natural service sense and appreciate working close to the customer, where you combine technical competence with business-minded thinking.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required, as is a B-driving license. Knowledge of German is an advantage.

The business has its headquarters in Smålandsstenar, as well as a presence with an office in Frankfurt and employees.

The company's customers are located throughout Europe and operate in environments where working environment, efficiency, and quality are crucial factors. Since 2017, Wheelsystem has delivered market-leading, fully automatic wheel washers – designed, developed, and manufactured in Sweden.
