Do you have experience in mechanics and thrive in a solution-oriented and technical role? We are now looking for a driven mechanic for the food industry in Helsingborg.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you work close to production and are responsible for ensuring that machines and equipment function optimally. You will become part of a team where technical knowledge, collaboration, and problem-solving are in focus. You will work with emergency maintenance and preventive maintenance, so you must thrive in a varied role. The work includes troubleshooting and repairing production equipment as well as ongoing service and preventive maintenance. You work with both modern and older machinery and are also responsible for documenting completed work as well as planning and carrying out maintenance interventions. The role also includes participating in improvement work together with other functions in the business. The work involves systems and components within pneumatics and hydraulics and may sometimes involve working at heights or in tight spaces, which requires good physical fitness and mobility. Working hours are during the day, with on-call duty twice a month.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A strong interest in mechanics
• Experience with machine maintenance in the manufacturing industry
• Workshop technical education or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Good computer skills
• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and writing)
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience from the food or medical technology industry
• Welding skills

Personal Qualities

A driver's license and access to a car are required for commuting to and from the workplace.
