What does the job as a personal assistant involve?

As a personal assistant, you work with a person with a disability. There, you help with the things in everyday life that many take for granted, such as dressing, household chores, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a big difference and help make someone else's daily life function.

We have clients of different ages and with different disabilities. Your workplace is where the client is located, and the job is both varied and eventful. We believe that contributing every day to enable a person to live their life as they wish is the most important job in the world.

What does this position involve?

I am a man who has suffered a brain injury. I sit in a wheelchair and have no speech, but I communicate via a letter board.

I have a sense of humor and enjoy laughing and joking with my assistants. I enjoy going for walks, doing activities such as concerts, markets, and excursions. For me, it is important that you can take initiative and want to add gold trim to my everyday life. I have a high care need, so I would appreciate it if you had experience in this area.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are engaged, respectful, and sensitive. The client sits in a wheelchair and has no speech; therefore, it is important that you as an assistant have good communication skills, both with the client and to help him advocate for himself.

You who apply for the position find it easy to take initiative, you are social, humble, and have the ability to work independently with the client's best interests in mind.

We see it as a great merit if you are positive and loyal in your work and are flexible regarding schedules and working hours. It is important that you have a genuine interest in working as a personal assistant. Experience in healthcare is advantageous.

The client wishes to have female assistants.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Swedish (speaking and understanding)
• Experience in healthcare and social care is highly advantageous

Additional information

Employment type: Fixed-term contract (48%) with the possibility of extra shifts.

Working hours: Varying times, day 08:00-16:00, evening 17:00-22:00, weekends.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
