Ward 93 currently has 14 inpatient beds, distributed across two care units where patients with kidney diseases, rheumatological conditions, and general medical illnesses are treated. The ward also includes a day-care unit with 8 beds, where patients visit during the day for various treatments. Here, you will gain a broad foundation across different areas of operation.

Responsibilities

On Ward 93, we offer stimulating, challenging, and developmental work. As a nurse, you lead the care of our patients and are part of the multidisciplinary team working with nursing, investigations, medical treatments, pre- and post-operative care, as well as peritoneal dialysis. You will have the opportunity to learn a great deal and build a broad professional foundation.

We offer everyone an individually tailored onboarding program lasting 6 weeks. Newly graduated nurses are offered consecutive weeks in the onboarding program to provide extra security in your new role, with greater access to support functions such as discharge coordinators, clinical quality nurses, doctors, and managers. The quality nurse will act as your mentor, following up on and supporting you after the completion of the introductory program.

The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Night shifts are required as needed. Individual scheduling is applied.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse. As a person, you are secure and stable. You are clear, flexible, and a good collaborator. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

About the Department

The Medical Department is one of the largest at the university hospital and is organizationally divided into five sections: endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, and general internal medicine. Patients with diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases, blood disorders, kidney diseases, and those requiring acute internal medicine care (often elderly and multi-morbid patients) are treated here. Each section has an outpatient clinic. There are also three inpatient wards.
