Do you want the chance to take over the role of sous-chef at the world's most delightful neighborhood bistro? Now is the time to apply. Hornsgatan Kvarterskrog & Barservering is located at the corner of Hornsgatan/Ringvägen and welcomes neighbors, regulars, and guests for lunch & dinner all week long.

At Hornsgatan Kvarterskrog & Barservering, you are welcome whenever you want, however you want – lounging in an arched sofa during a lively dinner with a crisp oyster and a bottle of Chablis. Or perhaps sipping a glass of cava in the bar late one afternoon, enchanted by swaying canary palms before the first lines of a new novel land on the keyboard. On the menu, you will find tones from the classics, from the country kitchen, from modern home cooking, and that recognizable feeling from Southern Europe's simple way of eating.

Here you get a total experience in an enchanting environment, spiced with unpretentious service, a large menu, and a warm atmosphere 🥂

Sous-Chef

As sous-chef, your task is to run and develop the kitchen within the frameworks set by management, the head chef, and the restaurant manager. Your work involves ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly, is profitable, and has a well-being workforce. You will work in consultation with the head chef.

About You

We are looking for you who

  • have previous experience in a leadership position within the restaurant and kitchen industry.
  • are unpretentious, clear, and responsive as a leader.
  • are motivated by and can motivate employees to work towards set goals.
  • are social and pleasant.
  • are proactive.

About the Position

You will be responsible for

  • maintaining the company's routines and policies.
  • self-control – HACCP.
  • leading and coaching employees in the kitchen.

You will also be jointly responsible for

  • inventory, monthly.
  • orders and returns.
  • ensuring the quality of the food served.
  • recipe and cost documentation.
  • training for new dishes.
  • achieving set food cost percentages.
  • optimizing labor costs for specific shifts.

You will be working in a strong and capable team where we value well-being above all else.
