STC is one of Sweden's largest gym chains with over 260 locations and a wide range of offerings in gym and group training. We agree with the WHO, the Public Health Agency, and government investigators: we sit still too much. Obesity is increasing, and mental health issues such as depression are becoming more common. But there is a simple solution that works wonders for both body, heart, and brain – movement! But we need your help!

We are now looking for a Gym Host who wants to work extra when needed (approx. 1-2 shifts per week) at our three gyms in Tibro, Hjo, and Karlsborg and who wants to offer our customers the best service and give them the best possible training experience.

Your Role

As a Gym Host, you are our face to the outside world and work to provide every member with a first-class service experience. Your focus is on actively driving sales of memberships and our other products, and you will be an important part of our team in creating value for both members and the business. Sales, customer service, and creating a welcoming environment are the core of your work. You also ensure that our members follow our well-being rules to ensure a positive and safe gym environment for everyone. This means you actively remind and inform members about the rules, handle disruptive behavior, and help create a safe atmosphere. By being present and accommodating, you contribute to all members feeling welcome and able to train in a positive environment.

Your responsibilities primarily include:

• Sales of memberships and additional services such as personal training packages, products from our retail assortment, and any campaigns. Also follow-up via phone, where you call existing members to ask about their experience at the gym and to see if they want to renew their memberships.

• High-level customer service, where you answer questions both by phone and directly at the gym, help members solve problems, and ensure they get the best experience.

• Daily operations, which includes keeping clean and welcoming premises, ensuring equipment is in good condition, and maintaining the gym's general standard.

The work pace can vary and change quickly depending on the time of day and the number of members visiting our gym. Since our gyms have flexible staffing and varying working hours, you need to be flexible and able to work irregular hours, including weekends and afternoons/evenings. Our shifts are usually between 3.5-4.5 hours long.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is positive, social, and has a natural ability to create a high level of service in all interactions with our members. You are passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring environment where members feel seen and appreciated and feel the joy of training. To succeed in the role, we believe you have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach when it comes to meeting different situations and needs. You are a person who easily adapts to changed circumstances and has the ability to maintain a high pace without compromising the quality of the work you perform. Since you will be working at our three different gyms in Hjo, Tibro, and Karlsborg, it is very important that you have a driver's license and a car, or alternatively that you can ensure in another way that you are available to work at all three facilities based on the business's needs.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Have a high level of service

• Strong sense for sales and quality

• Are flexible and can work days, evenings, and weekends (evening shifts start at 15:45)

• Can have at least 1 scheduled shift every week (but preferably more), and jump in extra when needed

• Want to give that little extra, both to customers and your colleagues

• Speak and write fluent Swedish

• Can work in both Tibro, Hjo, and Karlsborg
