Your new workplace

The mission of the Care and Social Services Board is to create a legally secure and efficient operation based on political goals, decisions, economic conditions, and legislation, with the needs of care recipients at the center.

The applicable legislation includes the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). These laws are based on individual voluntariness. Voluntariness and respect for the individual's autonomy and integrity are also starting points for the work within the Care and Social Services Board's operations. Another important principle is the holistic view, which means that social work should have a broad perspective on people and their life situations, as well as their own responsibility for their social situation.

Skottsundsbacken is located in Kvissleby, Njurunda, and has 101 care beds. We work in teams where all professions are represented. We focus on the development of dementia care. We offer a developing operation with digital tools and good collaboration. A benefit of our workplace is that we are large enough to exchange knowledge and specialized expertise among ourselves.

How you contribute as a Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant with us, you are responsible for standard care tasks and perform delegated HSL prescriptions. You work with register management, including Senior Alert and BPSD, and create implementation plans in Life Care. You work actively with digital tools such as safety alarms.

You also participate in representative duties, such as handling the Economy Portal for ordering food and supply items. Active work with daily activities for our care recipients is also included, as well as daily planning using the "Tavelplanering" (Board Planning) tool.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have education in care and social services that is assessed as equivalent.

• Primarily Nursing Assistant/Caregiver with a focus on elderly care or other specializations within Nursing Assistant.
• Education in dementia care, palliative care (end-of-life care), mental health issues in the elderly.
• University College with a focus on mental health, or other specialization within psychiatry/disability.
• Pedagogical education.
• Completed or ongoing higher education in behavioral science, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, HR specialist, rehabilitation scientist, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have at least SFI Level D or equivalent education level in Swedish.
• Communicative ability to provide information in Swedish to the individual (care recipient), colleagues, and relatives.
• Oral presentation to report and inform about the individual (care recipient).
• Written presentation to document in the medical record system regarding the individual (care recipient).
• Digital maturity.
• Previous experience with digital documentation such as Salto, Sensio, Life Care, Teams.
• Driver's license B (bus connections are limited) is meritorious.
• High availability and the ability to work different shifts are seen as meritorious.
