Teltek is Sweden's only manufacturer of checkweighers for the food industry and has grown since 1984 into an international export company with around 30 employees in Örebro. With a unique combination of technical competence and customer focus, Teltek delivers high-performance, modular solutions to markets worldwide.

We develop, sell, and build complete machines in our own facilities. Each machine is configured individually, with mechanical design being a key part of the process. Since our inception, we have delivered more than 2,000 machines. Approximately two-thirds of our sales go to exports via distributors. In Sweden, we have our own sales team as well as extensive service operations.

The Role

Do you want to work with mechanical design, both in delivery projects and in new development projects? At Teltek, we build nearly 200 customer-specific machines every year. To do this, we need well-thought-out and cost-effective building blocks, as well as the ability to assemble them efficiently and with high quality into a unique solution for each customer. We are now looking to strengthen our team with an additional mechanical designer.

Title: Mechanical Designer

Location: Örebro (On-site)

Reports to: Delivery Project Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design in both delivery projects and new development projects.

Teltek is a company with a pronounced customer and process focus. To support the company's work, we need to be accessible to one another. Therefore, we expect the work to be carried out primarily on-site at our premises in Örebro.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical design in delivery and new development projects
• Continuously contribute to introducing solutions with higher customer value and lower costs into the product range
• Contribute to process and method development to streamline operations

Your Profile

You have a solid foundation in mechanical design and wish to develop continuously; both personally, in your role, and together with the company. You work independently but thrive best in collaboration with others. You deliver high quality while being efficient and respectful of schedules.

We are looking for someone who has

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vocational Higher Education (YH) in Mechanical Design/CAD, or similar
• Knowledge of CAD software
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Örebro
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and efficient

Merits
