The Assignment We are looking for industrial workers for various assignments within the wood industry in Västerås and the surrounding area. The assignments are varied and can range from short-term to long-term depending on customer needs.

About the Role

As an industrial worker in the wood industry, you will work with different customers and perform production-related tasks. The tasks may include, among other things:

• Operating machines for sawing, planing, and cutting
• Working with nail guns
• Assembly and packaging of wood products
• Quality control, reading drawings, and simple measurements

Who Are You

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, flexible, and accustomed to working at a pace that can sometimes be high. You enjoy practical tasks and working in a team, while also being able to take initiative when needed.

Requirements

• Experience from production or the wood industry is an advantage
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic understanding of quality and safety
• A Category B driver's license is an advantage, depending on the assignment

Merits

• Forklift license
• Experience with sawing or planing functions
• Experience reading drawings
• Experience working with automation

Working Hours

Working hours vary between daytime, two-shift systems, or other shift schedules depending on the customer's needs and the nature of the assignment.
