We are now looking for a housing support worker for our team at Herrgårdsvägen Group Home. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! The position is a part-time role of approximately 92%.
Herrgårdsvägen Group Home is part of the social psychiatry services in Danderyd. The residence is located in a quiet villa area in Danderyd, 1.5 km from Mörby Centrum. The facility has its own garden and shared spaces such as a living room and kitchen. The residence has six apartments.
Responsibilities: As an employee, you work during the day, on weekends, and on on-call shifts, where you sleep in the on-call room at the facility during on-call hours. During on-call hours, it is important that you are always available for the residents if they need urgent support during the nights. You work with individual implementation plans where motivation and participation are in focus to give residents the opportunity to influence their own lives. The job also includes writing and documenting implementation plans and social journals.

We are looking for you who:
- Have experience working within social psychiatry and with the target group.
- Are a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry.
- Are accustomed to conducting motivational interviewing sessions and documenting according to social services guidelines.
- Are self-reliant and can write individual implementation plans.
- Take initiative to find new solutions and prioritize the well-being of the residents.
- Are creative and enjoy contributing to the team.
- Meritorious if you have experience with ESL (Extended Support Living) and training in independent living.
About the role In the role of housing support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work with the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their skills and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You have a team leader or group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the facility. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge You who apply have a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
