The Nursing Unit belongs to the Support, Care, and Social Services administration. Our mission is to provide good and safe care to people at all stages of life, in both ordinary and special housing.

We are 44 dedicated employees responsible for approximately 700 patients. Our workdays are characterized by collaboration, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Many of our nurses also appreciate the variety in the work, not least the opportunity to go out, move around, and sometimes enjoy beautiful drives between residents and housing facilities.

2 positions available.

Job Description

As a district nurse/registered nurse with us, you work in both ordinary and special housing and have overall responsibility for the patient's specific care needs.

The work is varied and stimulating and takes place in close collaboration with other nurses, district nurses, care staff, and other professions.

Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Independent medical assessments.
  • Handling more complex patient cases.
  • Telephone assessments and home visits.
  • Advice to relatives and home care staff.
  • Delegation as well as information and training for care staff.
  • Documentation according to current legislation.
  • Health-promoting and preventive work.

The position may involve day, evening, and weekend work (Night shifts may occur in exceptional cases).

We also offer the possibility of part-time specialist training during working hours, for example for:

  • District Nurse
  • Community Nurse (Silvia Nurse)
  • Specialist in Home Health Care

Qualifications

  • Licensed District Nurse or Registered Nurse.
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission).
  • Several years of experience working as a nurse.

We are looking for someone who is confident, independent, and responsible in their professional role. You thrive on making your own decisions, working systematically, and handling complex situations. You are flexible, have good judgment, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate. With your professional approach, you create security and trust in meetings with patients, relatives, and colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have advanced knowledge within geriatrics, dementia care, or psychiatry.

Employment Terms

Type of Employment: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland and are offered employment, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
