We are now looking for someone who wants to take a key role in supplier quality, responsible for ensuring and further developing the quality of strategically important suppliers in a complex and technically advanced operation.

Here you will work closely with both strategic procurement, the technical organization, and external partners – and be part of where decisions are made.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As responsible for supplier quality, you work both operationally and strategically to develop and secure quality within assigned product groups. The role involves close dialogue with suppliers and a clear mandate to drive improvements and make quality-related decisions with direct business impact.

You will among other things:

• Drive and develop supplier quality in areas such as mechanics, electronics, non-metallic components, and process-related areas
• Handle deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and follow up on improvement measures
• Conduct supplier audits and follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with requirements, drawings, tolerances, and quality standards
• Be a key partner to strategic procurement in supplier selection and quality decisions
• Work in close collaboration where quality and procurement together drive the business forward

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Engineering background or equivalent experience from an industrial environment
• Experience in quality work and a good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to work structured in a dynamic environment with many parallel activities
• Strong communication skills and experience working closely with both internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for someone who is calm, clear, and trustworthy in their communication. You are demanding when necessary, but at the same time diplomatic and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role where you get to drive issues forward, work closely with suppliers, and create results together with others.

Advantageous is experience in supplier quality (SQM/SQE), mechanics and drawing understanding, electronics or chemistry-related processes, as well as audit work or procurement-proximity roles.
