What does the job as a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?

As a nurse within Norlandia Elderly Care, you are a valuable key person responsible for ensuring that our residents' needs for health and medical care are met. An important part of the job is also to support, supervise, and train other care staff and be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, taking great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role.

About Fyllinge Elderly Home

Fyllinge has 54 modern apartments distributed across six wards, two wards focused on dementia care, and four wards with a somatic focus. Each ward has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a balcony or outdoor area for socializing, meals, and activities. The own garden offers excellent opportunities for outdoor stays and activities. Norlandia operates Fyllinge independently.

As a summer substitute, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can, for example, see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about open shifts, and how much you can earn on an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of the earned salary for extra/hourly shifts directly after the shift is completed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We appreciate that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and have a good ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient. As a nurse in elderly care, you will have the opportunity to take significant personal responsibility, which requires professional competence, prioritization skills, and flexibility.

• We are looking for you who are a registered nurse.
• It is meritorious if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• It is important that you have good computer skills and system knowledge and understanding.

Employment type: Summer substitute position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
