Together with a leading company in the marine and industrial environment, we are now looking for a Junior Embedded Developer. The assignment is part of our staffing service, which means you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant. About the role

Here you will have the opportunity to develop long-term in an experienced team with broad competence. In this role, you will work with model-based development of the powertrain for both the marine and industrial environments. You will work broadly and strengthen your competencies in electric, hybrid, and combustion engines. In addition to coding, this role also involves conducting software testing, both in virtual and physical environments. You will primarily develop the software in Matlab and Simulink, so you need to feel confident in these tools.

In the role, you will be based out of the office in Gothenburg. In the long term, there may be opportunities to participate in expeditions both within Sweden and internationally.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a Master of Science degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Has experience with embedded development (from education or work)
• Has good knowledge of Matlab and Simulink
• Is fluent in English, both spoken and written

If you hold a B driving license, are fluent in Swedish, or have an interest in marine technology, it is highly meritorious for the role.
