Job Responsibilities

Ystads Samhällsfastigheter is looking for a driven and experienced operations technician with specialization in control, regulation, monitoring, and ventilation to strengthen our technical team. You will become a new force in the energy group, which maintains and optimizes our facilities. The role involves a range of different tasks within supervision, maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs of general building equipment.

Your areas of responsibility include keeping track of all buildings in the portfolio, handling operational alarms in ventilation, cooling, and heating systems, performing necessary actions and indoor climate checks, supporting property caretakers in their daily work, and collaborating with external contractors. You will also work with regulatory requirements, such as OVK (Air Ventilation System Inspection). You will also perform cost assessments, orders, and administrative property management tasks.

The role involves both strategic and operational work, both at the office and in the field. You will participate in energy monitoring and energy efficiency improvements, as well as planned and preventive maintenance according to established maintenance plans. The work is carried out at various locations, such as schools, nursing homes, and other operations like Ystad Arena. You will be the hub when it comes to the building's technical systems and work closely with 15 property caretakers who are part of the operations group.

Qualifications

For this role, we highly value experience from working life, specifically from professions that provide good experience for this position. Practical experience working with electrical, control, heating, and ventilation systems, as well as preventive maintenance, is therefore a requirement. It is important to have a genuine interest, passion for the profession, and good knowledge and understanding of the tasks. In the role, it is important to be flexible and able to adapt quickly. Personal commitment, initiative, and solution-oriented thinking are important qualities.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement.

Organizationally, you will be placed in the Energy Group, and your closest colleagues will primarily include property technicians and energy engineers.

To be successful in the role, we would like you to have a high school or post-secondary education considered relevant to the field. We see that you have a holistic understanding of how different building and technical systems interact from both operational and management perspectives. Knowledge of relevant laws, agreements, and regulations governing work within property operations is also important. Your strong drive and commitment enable you to succeed even in an independent role. The role involves a lot of contact with people, so it is important that you are communicative and can collaborate and communicate with many different personalities.
