Do you want a meaningful part-time job where you truly make a difference? We are now looking for a personal assistant for a boy who lives with his family in Smedstorp.

The boy is curious, enjoys being outdoors, and appreciates company in various activities – everything from playing and walking to short excursions. He communicates using sign language and has a hearing impairment. He also has CHARGE syndrome and uses a PEG tube for feeding.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in his daily life. You contribute to security, participation, and joy – both at home and during activities. You enjoy being active, take initiative, and meet the child with respect, patience, and warmth.

• The position is perfect as a part-time job. The work involves a few hours on weekends and more time during school holidays.

To feel confident in the role, we look for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of sign language
• Has experience in personal assistance or a similar care profession
• Is secure, sensitive, and engaged
• Has knowledge of low-arousal approaches
• Has experience working with children and young people (meritorious)
