Your Responsibilities
As an Automation Technician / Automation Engineer, you will work with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of frequency converters and drive systems in customer-specific applications. You will work closely with customers within industrial, marine, and mobile solutions where the systems often place high demands on functionality, robustness, and reliability. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Programming and parameterization of frequency converters
- Integration with control systems, PLCs, and communication solutions
- Commissioning and troubleshooting on-site at customer locations
- Technical support and optimization of existing systems
- Retrofitting and upgrading older installations
- Creating technical documentation and solution proposals
The work takes place both from the office and in the field, involving varying working environments and travel within Sweden and the Nordic region, and occasionally internationally. You will become part of a technically strong organization where you will have the opportunity to work with advanced and customer-adapted solutions in a developing and varied role.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who have experience working with frequency converters, drive systems, and automation within industrial, marine, or mobile applications. You are technically curious and thrive in a role with varied tasks where problem-solving and customer-adapted solutions are in focus. You have a good understanding of electric drive systems and feel confident with programming, parameterization, and troubleshooting of frequency converters in various types of facilities and environments. We would like you to have experience with industrial control systems and communication solutions such as PLCs, CAN-based systems, or industrial fieldbuses. Experience from shipyard, port, or heavy industrial environments is considered an advantage. As a person, you are self-reliant, solution-oriented, and thrive in a role with significant customer contact. You are structured in your approach and have the ability to make decisions even in situations with time pressure. We also look for you to have:
- Good computer skills and experience with technical documentation
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
