About the role

Do you want to work in the manufacturing industry as a press brake operator in a modern production environment? We are currently looking for a careful and responsible employee with experience in press braking to join one of our clients in Valdemarsvik.

What the role entails

As a Press Brake Operator, you will work with bending sheet metal using a press brake based on drawings and technical specifications. You are responsible for setting up, programming, and operating the machine, as well as ensuring that the parts meet the required quality standards. The work also includes some control measurements and post-processing. You will collaborate closely with other departments in production. Depending on needs, you may also perform tasks in other manufacturing departments, such as laser cutting, assembly, and forklift driving.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has education at least at the upper secondary level within Industrial Technology with a focus on CNC technology.
• Has experience working as a press brake operator or has worked with controlled machines in the manufacturing industry, for example as a CNC operator.
• Can read and understand technical drawings and make adjustments in control systems.
• Is careful, responsible, and quality-conscious.
• Has good teamwork skills.
• Has general workshop technical competence and background.
• Has a B driver's license and access to a car if not residing in Valdemarsvik Municipality.

Merits

• Knowledge of metrology and quality control.
• Forklift license.

Furthermore, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can communicate fluently in speech and writing.

The employment

• Working hours: 2-shift system.
• Start: Immediately.

The assignment is planned to be permanent with the ambition of direct employment with the client company.
