RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for more colleagues for our home healthcare services and our special housing facilities for the elderly.

As a nurse within municipal health and social care, no two days are alike. The pace varies here, and days are filled with educational human encounters. With us, you have great freedom to plan your own day.

You will have the chance to work with highly experienced colleagues with broad competencies, and we place great emphasis on working without prestige and helping each other. We strive to periodically look up from our daily work and also think about what we want to achieve in the slightly longer term.

To a large extent, your work consists of assessing the patient's health status and deciding on healthcare interventions, carrying out prescriptions, and following up on measures taken. You are responsible for the nursing care of a number of patients. We have close cooperation with relatives and staff to make a difference in the patient's daily life. You conduct continuous visits to your patients to create continuity in the meeting with the patient and healthcare personnel. As needed, you collaborate with paramedics or consult the responsible physician. An important part of your work is also to support, supervise, and delegate nursing care tasks to nursing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed nurse
• have a valid driver's license (Category B)

The following are meritorious:

• Previous work experience as a licensed nurse
• Further education, for example, in geriatrics, psychiatry, or dementia care
• Experience working within municipal health and social care
