Oncology Clinic Sörmland is a county clinic serving the entire Sörmland region. Our ambition is to provide, cure, treat, and care for patients in Sörmland affected by tumors with the highest competence and quality.

At the Cancer Centre in Eskilstuna, we have consolidated our operations into one building, creating better logistics for our patients and staff.

Here you will find our ward, the Oncology Ward, with 22 beds for oncology and hematology patients requiring inpatient care, our treatment and outpatient activities, as well as the radiotherapy unit with 3 linear accelerators and a modern, well-equipped Target Centre for preparations.

We also have a doctor's clinic and outpatient treatment unit at Nyköping Hospital. Service in Nyköping occurs once you have progressed somewhat in your specialist training (ST). The clinic conducts clinical studies within the framework of the clinical research unit. Multidisciplinary collaboration is carried out with several clinics both within and outside the region.

Your Responsibilities

As a resident physician (ST) with us, you can develop into a skilled oncology specialist with the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in one of the oncological diagnostic areas. There is also an opportunity for independent research.

We have a dedicated ST study director employed at the clinic. The ST training is well-organized in accordance with the National Board of Health and Welfare's goal description. Contracts and education plans are drawn up for all resident physicians. Service takes place primarily in Eskilstuna but also at the clinic in Nyköping.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician. You have a strong commitment to your work and have good ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. Previous experience in clinical work within oncology is not a requirement.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with a start date as agreed.
