The Assignment

We are now looking for a meticulous and technically interested machine operator for an established company in Västerås. This position is suitable for you if you thrive in a production environment, have experience with machine monitoring and reading technical drawings, and want to contribute to stable and safe production.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and operation of assigned production machines.
• Loading materials and performing ongoing control measurements to ensure product quality.
• Performing basic maintenance, cleaning, and adjustments of machines.
• Troubleshooting and reporting deviations, as well as collaborating with technicians for corrective actions when necessary.
• Following safety routines and contributing to an orderly and safe work environment.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with an interest in technology and production. You have experience from machine production or workshop environments, or equivalent practical experience. You are meticulous, proactive, and thrive in a pace where delivery precision is important. Furthermore, you are flexible, work well in a team, and have a high level of safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with machine monitoring or operator work in production is an advantage.
• Understanding of reading technical drawings and measurement is a benefit.
• Experience with forklift operation is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Working Hours:

2-shift system (day/evening)

Start Date:

Immediately or as agreed. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
