We are now looking for an experienced and independent surveyor for permanent employment. This is a direct recruitment to one of our most popular clients/players in the surveying and construction industry in Stockholm.

Role Description: Surveyor – Infrastructure and Civil Engineering

As a surveyor with us, you will play a central role in the project lifecycle. Your work is the link between project idea and reality, and you are the hub between the site manager and the work crew. With your aptitude for practical solutions, good attitude, and willingness to solve problems, you will become a key person in the projects you drive from pre-planning, through production, to project completion.

Main responsibilities include:

• Reviewing drawings and technical documentation before project start.
• Ongoing technical survey support during the production phase.
• Control surveying and control calculations.
• Responsibility for quantity regulation, which is a crucial part of the project's success.
• Close collaboration with the site manager and the cost estimation department on economic matters and project agreements.

Examples of current projects:

• Östermalmstorg: The square is being renovated into a vibrant, safe, and accessible city square that preserves the square's historical values. A detailed planning project where we have many eyes on us, and where communication with the client, residents, business owners, and visitors is just as important as the production result.
• Separatorn 1: A new office building with an innovation center that Skanska is building on behalf of Fabege. A park landscape is to be created on the roof of the innovation center, and we have been asked and accepted the challenge. A project at (somewhat) dizzying heights that requires good coordination and efficient logistics.
• Bromma Handelsplats: Being expanded, and the City of Stockholm has decided after reviewing traffic flows to carry out tuning measures to facilitate accessibility. Work includes, among other things, laying two new traffic lanes and moving existing crosswalks within a busy area.

Marbit is an entrepreneurial and family-owned civil engineering company with short decision-making paths, where order and discipline as well as growth and development are prioritized. Our operations consist of 90% civil engineering projects, with assignments both as contracts and framework agreements, mainly for public clients. Precisio Mätkonsult is a subsidiary of Marbit that supports the main business and rents out resources on a consultancy basis to external customers within civil engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

Formal requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a surveyor in civil engineering.
• Experience with quantity regulation, preferably from AMA/MER/RA Construction.
• Good knowledge of SBG Geo or Topocad. AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of instruments from Leica or Trimble.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good knowledge of Swedish (required) and English.

Advantageous is experience and good knowledge in:

• Production surveying for infrastructure, construction, water/sewer, electricity, and detailed planning.
• Production surveying for building construction.
• Scanning and/or drone surveying as well as data processing.
• Responsibility for quantity regulation of contracts worth 10–100 million SEK.
• Quantity schedules with technical descriptions, AMA Construction and MER Construction for quantity regulation.
• Relevant technical education (Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent).

Other requirements and wishes:

• Good computer skills.
• Residing in the Stockholm area.
