About the project: On October 1, 2025, we started the assignment "Basic Maintenance of the Southern Main Line Railway Infrastructure 2," an ABT 06 Total Contract spanning seven years. The project covers the sections Grevaryd-Arlöv and Älmhult-Olofström. In total, this involves 53.6 miles of railway track and an organization of just over 60 people, with bases in Eslöv, Hässleholm, and Alvesta. The Southern Main Line is one of Sweden's most important freight corridors and simultaneously one of the most heavily loaded routes for passenger traffic, with rapidly growing regional train traffic.

About the role: As a Railway Technician at Infrakraft, you will be a key player in our team. You will work with maintaining and building railways. Your tasks include working with the track superstructure, such as sleeper, rail, and component replacements. There are also tasks within other technical branches. Together with the railway's other technical systems within signaling, electrical engineering, and telecommunications, you become a societal builder who helps prevent and resolve acute track faults. Every day brings new challenges and plenty of time outdoors, where you will collaborate closely with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good habit of driving your work forward and taking responsibility for your tasks
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license
