JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help develop the Water and Wastewater (VA) operations in Uppvidinge Municipality? We can offer you meaningful and varied work where you contribute to a secure and sustainable water and sewage supply.

We are currently looking for an excavator operator for our wheeled excavator. You will work together with a dedicated team consisting of foremen, pipe fitters, and machine operators. Together, you will be responsible for renewing and repairing the municipality's water and sewage pipes.

Responsibilities

The work includes, among other things:

• Shared machine time in the wheeled excavator together with another operator
• Manual work connecting and laying water and sewage pipes
• Transport of materials using a tractor and trailer from storage to the work area

The work also includes other common tasks within the municipality, such as:

• Snow clearing and anti-icing with hand tools and machinery during winter
• Assembly of playgrounds
• Installation of road signs

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

Requirements

We are looking for you who have:

• Experience in ground and construction work
• Good habit of working independently
• Experience working with excavators
• Category B driver's license

It is an extra advantage if you also have:

• Professional certificate for excavator operation
• Experience working on roads
• ESA and/or EBR certifications

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
