Do you want to help develop the railways of the future? As a Construction Manager for Overhead Contact Line Systems (OCLS) at Trafikverket (The Swedish Transport Administration), you will play a key role in our railway projects from early planning to the completed facility. Here, you combine technical specialist competence with close collaboration within the project team, contributing to safe, sustainable, and efficient solutions for Sweden's railway infrastructure.

As a Construction Manager for OCLS at Trafikverket, you support your project group and colleagues with technical expertise, production planning, and a good understanding of how different technologies interact within a project. You drive your technical discipline forward through all phases of the project, from planning to execution, and independently handle questions in both design and implementation. You present solution proposals to the project group and relay decisions to suppliers. The issues cover the entire OCLS system, from power supply (AT/BT), auxiliary power, booster lines, to traction transformers and return circuits.

During the production phase, you are present on-site and can quickly support the contractor in unclear situations.

In this position, you will primarily work in southern Sweden, and travel within the region is common.

You check the quality of deliveries within your technical discipline, including design, technical solution proposals from designers, cost estimates, final construction documents, and the finished facility. You ensure that the facility is designed according to current requirements and regulations, taking into account function, working environment, environment, and economy. You also follow up on the supplier's progress and coordinate with the time and cost plan. You possess knowledge of and apply safety processes and participate in connections, inspections, etc.

In your role, you will belong to a unit with project managers and project engineers to maintain a close link to project management. As a Construction Manager, you will primarily be attached to a project team that jointly drives several railway projects forward from planning to the completed facility and commissioning. Your competence will be utilized for further projects in the region to influence our choices at an early stage and help us make good decisions during the project. Since the work can involve high tempo at times, we see that you are stress-resistant, keep your cool, and can prioritize correctly even when several issues need to be handled simultaneously.

We are looking for you who

• have several years of current practical field experience in railway projects in the role of Construction Manager, Project/Work Manager, or equivalent role within railway projects
• have basic education as an Overhead Contact Line Technician or equivalent competence, as well as knowledge of the Swedish Electrical Safety Authority's regulations
• have current knowledge of AB/ABT, AMA, and technical descriptions within railway projects
• have experience with OCLS construction on lines and in yards
• have a driver's license for passenger cars
• have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is meritorious if you

• can plan and handle Trafikverket-specific material; specifications and pre-orders
• have qualifications as TSM and SoS Leader/Planner
• have experience with Trafikverket's management systems (BIS, Bessy, Ofelia, ProjectWise, etc.)
