• A individually tailored induction period of at least 5 weeks, plus 3 theoretical days.
• Individual supervision, training, and follow-up by our education nurse during the first year.

• Rotation between the care ward, admission unit, and intermediate care ward (IMA).
• Individually planned schedule.

Job Responsibilities

Vascular-Thorax Ward 53/IMA is part of the highly specialized care provided at the University Hospital in Örebro. Together with our intensive care unit (TIVA), vascular clinic, and operating department, the ward forms the Vascular and Thorax business area. We focus on the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. Patients are cared for on Ward 53 pre- and post-operatively.

Ward 53 has, in addition to standard care beds, an admission unit and 6 intermediate care beds (IMA). On the IMA, patients are cared for who no longer need intensive care but still require a higher level of care than on the general ward. The IMA also serves as a post-operative ward for our lung and heart surgery patients, as well as cardiologists' patients. As a nurse on Ward 53, you will rotate between these three units, providing great variety in your daily work.

On Ward 53/IMA, there is a professional team of nurses, assistant nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and physiotherapists. We work in a cross-professional manner with a focus on the patient and take pride in doing meaningful work for our patients. Qualifications

Employment Information:

Permanent position within the Region Örebro County Health and Medical Care Administration, located at VO Vascular and Thorax Ward 53. Full-time or according to preference. Individual schedule planning.
