At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for one of our clients living on Östermalm in Stockholm. We offer a temporary hourly position with the chance of fixed shifts each month. As a substitute, you will step in as needed on weekdays and weekends. Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

Possible working hours:

• 10:00–17:00, 17:00–10:00, 10:00–10:00 weekdays

• 11:00–18:00, 18:00–11:00, 11:00–11:00 weekends

Overnight waiting periods.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 60s with cerebral palsy. She uses a wheelchair and needs help with all aspects of her daily life. Furthermore, the client enjoys going to the cinema, visiting restaurants, cultural activities, traveling, and visiting church.

Common tasks include:

• Helping with daily routines such as household chores

• Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people. You should be perceptive and have a genuine interest in the client and what she wishes to do. Furthermore, you are a calm, engaged, and caring person who can handle significant responsibility. However, the most important thing for us is that you and our client enjoy each other's company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Swedish skills, both spoken and written

• Swimming ability and tolerance for chlorine

• Non-smoker

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Care experience or equivalent

• Care education or equivalent

Employment level: Temporary hourly position

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Since the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
