We are looking for an experienced sustainability specialist with a focus on PPWR and EUDR for a wholesale company in the food and raw materials sector in the Malmö region

Here you will play a central role in driving the implementation of new EU regulations within the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). You will work closely with several functions and contribute to creating structure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing working methods during an intensive and business-critical phase. Your employment offer

You are offered a qualified consulting assignment where you work closely with the business on the implementation of current and business-critical sustainability regulations. You will have the opportunity to influence working methods, system support, and processes related to PPWR and EUDR, in a role where your expertise makes a concrete difference from day one.

The assignment can be performed as a consultant via TNG or as a sub-consultant through your own company. As a consultant via TNG, you will receive secure employment during the assignment period and a dedicated consultant manager who supports you throughout the entire assignment.

Your responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze requirements within PPWR and EUDR based on the business's operations and assortment.
• Define which requirements apply, when they come into force, and for which products and suppliers.
• Formulate and communicate clear requirements internally and externally.
• Ensure that correct supplier data is collected together with the purchasing function.
• Validate data and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Produce technical documentation and issue Declarations of Conformity (DoC).
• Act as a requirement setter towards IT in the development of system support at the article and supplier level.
• Ensure quality and structure in internal systems.
• Be responsible for onboarding and use of system support (e.g., Osapiens).
• Handle questions from suppliers and customers related to regulations and requirements.

Key information

The assignment is full-time with a location in the Malmö region, where the work is primarily performed on-site with some possibility of remote work. Start is immediate, and the assignment runs until September, with the possibility of extension. You are expected to be available throughout the entire summer period.

Our expectations

We are looking for you who have experience in practically interpreting and implementing legislation within PPWR and/or EUDR, and who are accustomed to translating legal requirements into concrete working methods and processes. You have worked with supplier data, technical documentation, and Declarations of Conformity (DoC).

You communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have the ability to explain complex requirements in a clear and pedagogical manner. To thrive in this role, you are structured and self-driven, with confidence in acting as an expert and requirement setter in a business with many contact points.
