We are looking for a waste engineer who wants to contribute to the work with hazardous waste management and become an important part of the flow, where you will ensure that structure, logistics, and documentation are handled safely and efficiently. Your role is very important, and we are looking for someone who, in addition to knowledge of hazardous waste, has experience/interest in leadership, is confident in themselves, and wants to be a key part of a larger context of various collaborating functions.

What we are looking for:

You have some form of technical or environmental post-secondary education, preferably with knowledge/experience in heavy industry/nuclear power, knowledge of regulations and actors in the field. We would like you to have some form of leadership position today or in the past, and preferably experience of project work. You should have a few years of working life experience after completing post-secondary studies, but with the right drive, you can be relatively new to the job market.

Who you are as a person:

You are confident, calm, patient, structured, a person who easily gets an overview of the whole picture and who enjoys working in cross-functional teams. You need to have a talent for documentation, flows, and strive for high quality. You are not afraid of new challenges, but you approach them with thoughtfulness and a focus on safety. The work may involve you taking responsibility for smaller sub-projects on your own, which in that case feels responsible and rewarding for your personal development. You naturally have good knowledge of hazardous waste and nuclear power, or at least an interest and a strong desire to learn more.

• Security-cleared position,
• Some possibility of hybrid work (mostly on-site),
• The workplace is not centrally located in Malmö, commuting distance,
• Driver's license required,
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing required.

When: Start date by agreement, during the spring.
