Health & Safety Manager Nordic for International Industrial Company

As the Health & Safety Manager Nordic, you will play a central role in leading and developing health, safety, and environmental work within the Nordic operations. You will work closely with operations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, playing a key part in ensuring a safe, sustainable, and compliant working environment. The position is based in Malmö and involves collaboration with both regional and international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop health, safety, and environmental work within the Nordic operations
• Support managers and teams in implementing practical and sustainable safety routines
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding workplace environment and risk prevention
• Conduct and follow up on risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
• Be responsible for key safety areas such as chemical safety, ATEX, LOTO, machine safety, and crisis preparedness
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with internal standards and legal requirements
• Deliver training and information sessions in various workplace environments
• Monitor HSE performance and support data-driven improvements through reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders to share best practices and strengthen working methods

Your Profile

Qualifications

• Relevant academic education in occupational health and safety, engineering, risk management, or a similar field
• At least 5 years of experience in HSE
• Experience from industrial, manufacturing, production, process, or chemical operations
• Extensive experience in risk assessments and incident investigations
• Experience in conducting HSE training and supporting operational activities
• Good knowledge in areas such as ATEX, LOTO, chemical safety, and machine safety
• Experience with HSE management systems, preferably ISO 45001
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

This is a consultancy assignment where you are employed by Unik Resurs but work at the client's office in Malmö. The initial duration of the assignment is 6 months.
