Främja Natur is a day activity center in Lidingö with a focus on nature. We are housed in airy, bright premises at Baggeby, as well as having additional spaces at Elfviks Gård, where our outdoor operations work daily with cultivation, animal care, and farm work. At Elfviks Gård, we run a 200 sqm garden together with our main participants and help take care of chickens, rabbits, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and other tasks that arise on a farm. In Baggeby, the focus is on craftsmanship in our carpentry workshop, atelier, and studio, where there is space for work with wood, painting, wool, clay, and sewing.

We have space for 34 participants within person group 1. Our staff are educated in care, pedagogy, art, and crafts.

We are looking for you who wish to work with pedagogical initiatives in the areas of animals, cultivation, outdoor life, and crafts. The operation has an overarching sustainability mindset, and part of the work is outdoors. For us, it is important that you as a person appreciate nature and have a desire to work sustainably. We are looking for you with experience of working in our areas of focus, either professionally or privately, and who enjoy being outdoors and can dress appropriately for the weather.

As a care assistant in our day activity center, you will be an important part of creating a meaningful and developing daily life for our main participants. Your main task is to offer support and guidance to the participants, adapted to their individual needs and abilities. You will also lead activities and work within cultivation, crafts, outdoor life, and animal care. We work with clarifying pedagogy and a low-affective approach to create security and structure.

The tasks include supporting the participants in their personal implementation plans and finding and exploring meaningful activities based on their interests. You will also contribute to developing the operation by participating in planning and follow-up together with other colleagues.

With us, the participant is always at the center, so it is important that you as a person are curious, receptive, and clear. Our work is based on a relational approach where our ability to create relationships, motivate, and inspire is crucial. It is important that you feel comfortable and radiate calm and security even in unpredictable situations. The work requires that you are solution-focused and that you can handle and have experience with challenging behaviors.

You will participate in an active work team where you are expected to take initiative, work independently, follow common guidelines and action plans. It is important that you, like us, find care exciting and want to be involved in finding new approaches that can help our participants develop. We place great importance on personal suitability.

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Class B driver's license.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
• Experience and knowledge of our areas of focus: cultivation, animals, crafts, outdoor life.
• Gymnasium education such as Child and Youth Program, Care and Welfare Program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

• Experience from psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective approach.
• Previous experience working as a care assistant in day activity.

Employment Type: Permanent, with a 6-month probation period. Hours: 75%. Working Hours: Weekdays, daytime. Start Date: As agreed, with a target of August. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements to Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
