Job Responsibilities

Work within our different operational areas varies. As a summer temporary employee, you will meet people with different needs for support and care. What all operations have in common is that the work is based on the individual's needs, with a focus on meeting every person with respect. Working hours vary, including days, evenings, and weekends, and in some units, sleeping on-call/awake nights.

Our areas within the Social Welfare Sector are:

• Disability Support (Funktionsstöd)
• Home Help Service (Stöd i hemmet)
• Specialized Housing (Särskilt boende)

Who are you?

We are looking for you who want a meaningful summer temporary position/part-time job and want to work with people who need you. You who apply to us can have previous experience in care and support or be completely new to the field.

• Experience and education in the field are meritorious but not a requirement.
• If you have completed or ongoing studies, these grades/diplomas must be attached to the application.
• To work in our operations, you must be at least 18 years old.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You must have the right to work in Sweden.
• Since we work with people, we place great importance on personal suitability.

Other Information

• Working hours vary between days, evenings, and weekends. Some units also have night and 24-hour shifts.
• A Class B driver's license is required for work in certain operations.
• Cycling proficiency is required for work in certain operations.
• To work with us, you must present an extract from the criminal record register. You order the extract via this link: Criminal Record Register - Request Extract | Swedish Police Authority (https://polisen.se/). Depending on which area you are to work in, you will receive further information about which criminal record register is required.

Selection takes place continuously based on the needs of the operations; we contact candidates who are relevant for an interview.

Criminal Record Extract

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are obliged to present an extract from the criminal record register for work in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in other operations than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), work at or in connection with HVB homes (Hem för vård eller boende), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
