Here you work in a high-performance environment where technology is at the forefront and the demands for quality, performance, and manufacturability are real. You become part of a company whose products are used by some of the world's most demanding users – where every detail matters and where the contribution from each individual is truly noticeable. The role is within structural mechanics, and simulation is an integrated part of the entire development chain. You work closely with design, challenge design choices, and contribute to solutions that actually hold up in reality.
About the role:
This is a recruitment for an established high-performance company within an exciting industry. You step into a central role where structural mechanical analysis is an integrated part of product development. Here, simulation is used as an active tool to drive design forward, not just to verify finished solutions. In close collaboration with design and other development functions, you are responsible for ensuring that products meet high demands for performance, strength, and reliability. The role involves setting up calculation strategies, performing advanced analyses, and translating results into concrete design improvements. You are involved throughout the entire development chain, from early concepts and requirement definitions to finished and verified design. You become part of a technically advanced environment where precision and product understanding are crucial, and where your work has a direct impact on the final product.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and perform FEA analyses focusing on strength, stiffness, dynamics, and lifespan
- Build relevant calculation models based on function, requirements, and real load cases
- Analyze and review results with a critical, engineering mindset
- Support the design work regarding dimensioning, concept selection, and improvements
- Ensure simulations meet current requirements, standards, and internal guidelines
- Drive work regarding documentation, traceability, and verification of analyses
- Participate in further developing methods, tools, and approaches within the analysis field
- Work closely with other functions such as design, testing, production, and quality
We are looking for you who:
- Hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Have several years of experience in structural mechanical analysis in a technology-intensive environment
- Have experience with FEA tools (e.g., Abaqus, Ansys, or Simcenter)
- Are accustomed to requirement management and structured documentation
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English
You work analytically and systematically, focusing on finding solutions that work in practice. At the same time, you are confident in your competence and dare to question both the basis and the results to ensure quality. You have good communication skills and can translate complex analysis into clear and useful insights for the design work. As a person, you are unpretentious and team-oriented, with a holistic perspective and a strong interest in technology that drives you forward.
It is an advantage if you have worked with:
- Non-linear analyses, fatigue, or MBD (Multi-Body Dynamics)
- Design or product development
- Testing and verification related to simulation
- Technical responsibility or sub-project management
