Swedish Lorry Parts is a Swedish company specializing in spare parts for Volvo construction machinery, Volvo/Scania trucks & buses, as well as Volvo Penta/Scania marine & industrial applications.

As Product Manager, you will work on our continued expansion within construction machinery and be responsible for continuously developing our product range, focusing on components primarily for wheel loaders, dumpers, and excavators. You will have a central role where you are involved in the entire process, from idea to finished product in the customer's machine.

You will be responsible for analyzing market needs, creating production or purchasing specifications, and selecting the right manufacturer or supplier.

Responsibilities:

• Identify needs for new articles based on customer dialogues and historical data.
• Drive dialogue with suppliers to develop and bring new products to market.
• Ensure quality through testing, verification, and trial assembly with customers.
• Coordinate material analyses in collaboration with external partners.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers and participate in customer visits.
• Participate in international industry trade fairs.
• Provide technical support to the warranty department, receiving inspection, and technical support.

As Product Manager, you are responsible for the product's entire lifecycle – from development and launch to phase-out when the product is no longer commercially viable.

During the first one to two years, you will work project-focused on identifying and evaluating new and existing suppliers. This is a major change project together with strategic purchasing, focusing on optimizing the supplier base and moving the assortment between suppliers.

Person Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have experience from construction machinery or the contracting segment. You have a practical understanding of how machines work and have preferably worked with service, repair, or assembly previously. At the same time, you are accustomed to working closely with customers and/or suppliers in a business-oriented role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from construction machinery or a related area.
• Has good technical understanding and a commercial perspective.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Is accustomed to working in various IT systems and has good computer skills.

• Communicative and confident in dialogue with both customers and suppliers.
• Analytical and solution-oriented.
• Business-minded with a focus on quality and results.
