Do you want to work with society-critical systems in a technically advanced environment? We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a role where you will help develop and operate solutions that are crucial for Sweden's power system.

About the role

You will work in a business-critical IT environment with a focus on power system analysis, operational planning, and the development of tomorrow's electricity systems. The role involves supporting development teams and operations by automating, streamlining, and ensuring quality in deliveries within a complex system environment.

You will become part of a cross-functional team and work closely with developers, architects, platform teams, and IT security.

Responsibilities

• Automate configuration management and application deployment
• Work with operations, installation, and configuration in Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Work with monitoring, log management, and incident analysis
• Optimize operational environments and ensure stability and performance
• Collaborate with development teams and external vendors
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 15 years of experience in technology-heavy IT roles (or alternatively 12 years + relevant education)
• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in agile teams
• At least 7 years of experience with Windows environments and applications (e.g., C#)
• At least 3 years of experience with Linux environments (e.g., C++, Python)
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with monitoring and log management (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with automation (Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Argo CD, etc.)
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English
